The Lochmere Arrow competition is an S.C.A. archery competition in Atlantia typically held yearly for the prize of 'bragging rights' and custody of the arrow for the year. == History == At its inception, it was called the Golden Arrow, and it still remains the name from an official standpoint; but after the Barony of Lochmere dominated the competition by winning every year for nigh on a decade, it came to be known as the 'Lochmere Arrow'. Originally a team consisted of the Baron and Baroness (or similar) and a champion, or Seneschal and 2 champions (for non-baronies). Then it went to just 2 champions, so that groups with fewer shooters could field a team. Currently it is any two archers that wish to forma a team for a Barony. Both members of the team must be members of declared Barony.
